AYSO thanks the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District and the Cities of Yorba Linda and Placentia for allowing the use of their fields and facilities. We remind our families that we are guests, and have a responsibility to always take care of these facilities.
The teams that arrive for the first game of the day are expected to set up goals for that field. The teams that are scheduled to play the last game of the day on that field are expected to tear down the goals and secure them for the night. If playing on Upper Champions field in Placentia, please make note that if you are the last in your division to play, regardless of games scheduled after yours, you are also expected to tear down and secure the goals for your division. Be advised that U12 and U14 do not share the same sized goals.
FOR 5 DAY LOCAL WEATHER REPORT
Even if fields are not officially “closed” by the cities, AYSO is expected to use good judgment and stay off the fields when conditions warrant, such as when fields are so wet that use would damage the turf, during lightning storms, extreme hot or cold temperatures, unacceptable air quality, other dangerous conditions, etc. The board will be in direct communication with players when fields are closed.
We know that your pets are important to you, however it is AYSO's goal to make your soccer season as safe as possible for you, your family, and even your pets. We ask for you to leave your pets at home when visiting our fields.
Disclaimer: AYSO is obligated to observe and respect existing regulations and laws regarding the presence of service animals at our fields. Service animals are defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as only dogs or miniature horses that have been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability. Other animals, whether wild or domestic, do not qualify as service animals.
